Background
Ilja C. Hendel, born in 1971, holds a Master´s degree in Political Science from the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg, Germany. He wrote his master thesis on economic sideeffects of postwar reconstruction in Mostar, Bosnia.
He lives in Oslo, Norway and Berlin, Germany and works as an experienced photographer for magazines and newspapers , and institutional organisations like the German Ministry of Finance. Also can you find his pictures on the German website of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe. He is represented by the picture agency VISUM.
